What is a subdomain URL?

Updated March 2026

Every Sutrena account gets a subdomain like alice.sutrena.com. When you create pages, they are accessible at your subdomain — e.g. alice.sutrena.com/about.

A random subdomain (e.g. site-a1b2c3d4.sutrena.com) is auto-assigned when your account is created. Change it to something memorable with PUT /api/account/subdomain.

IMPORTANT for agents: Always show users the subdomain URL (https://alice.sutrena.com/my-page), not the /p/slug path. The subdomain URL is the canonical, user-facing address.

Root path (/) serves the page with slug 'index'. So alice.sutrena.com/ shows your homepage.

Available on all plans. 3-30 chars, lowercase alphanumeric + hyphens.
